SPAPS is pre-1.0. Its contracts may still change.
Customer API access requires an active paid subscription and provisioned application credentials. Access to source, a package, a container image, documentation, or an API credential does not grant a right to deploy, redistribute, resell, or operate the SPAPS backend.
What The Examples Mean
The local-runtime, package-installation, and maintainer commands in these docs are integration and development instructions for authorized users. They are not permission to self-host SPAPS or redistribute its first-party packages.
Customer Path
The current developer offer is $99 per month, with no free tier and no trial. An active subscription permits up to three staging applications.
- Subscribe at
sweetpotato.dev. - Sign in and provision an application.
- Save the scoped secret key when it is shown; raw secrets are shown once.
- Install an authorized TypeScript or Python client.
- Integrate the hosted API at
https://api.sweetpotato.dev.
Repository cloning, Docker setup, local backend startup, and production deployment are maintainer workflows—not customer onboarding.
Third-party dependencies keep their own license terms.
Earlier Releases
Material previously distributed under another license keeps the rights granted with that version. The current proprietary notice does not retroactively revoke an earlier license.
For the complete controlling notice, authorized repository users should read LICENSE in the
Sweet Potato product repository. Separate written agreements and applicable service terms can grant
additional rights.
